Today

I’m a UX & UI designer based in the small pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, specializing in thoughtful, user-centered digital products with real value. I’m currently looking for exciting new challenges in UX, UI, and digital product development—mainly remote, but I’m flexible and willing to relocate for the right project or fair opportunity. B.A. in Communication Design

FH Aachen

2019 - 2024

Focus on UX and UI design, with hands-on specialization through a wide range of projects, workshops, and pitch presentations—both solo and in teams. I learned how to translate complex user needs into clear concepts and compelling designs. Toward the end of my studies, I shifted focus to future-oriented design processes, exploring AI both as a creative tool and as an integrated component in digital products.

Work experience across different industries

2017 - 2019

After graduating from design-focused high school, I explored various jobs to grow professionally and personally. As an event waiter, I learned to stay focused and dependable under pressure for long hours. As a receptionist, I developed strong communication skills through direct client interaction.Working on large construction sites taught me how to take responsibility and do what needs to be done—even under demanding physical conditions.

Design-Focused High School / Technical Assistant in Design

Berufskolleg für Technik Moers (RWTH)

2014 - 2017

Focus on the fundamentals of design, print production, advertising, and visual communication.
Already during this time, I learned how to visually translate ideas and present them professionally—through thoughtful storytelling, structure, and technique. This laid the foundation for my later specialization in UX and UI.

How I work

Structured. User-centered. Flexible.
Every project is different, but my process follows a proven, adaptable framework. I combine analytical thinking with creative execution—moving through structured phases that have proven effective in real-world design work.
1.

Briefing.
Asking the right questions

Every project begins with a structured “W-question” analysis: Why, for whom, with what, and when? Getting clear answers is essential—because without a solid foundation, no design will stand.

2.

Research.
Evidence-based and unbiased

I conduct research that is grounded in facts and centered on real users. I focus on neutrality and insights that reflect real-life behavior—whether found online, offline, or directly in dialogue with users.

3.

Concept Phase. Structuring insights

The right UX methodology is crucial. I use tools like user flows, personas, and experience maps to translate insights into clear, actionable concepts.

4.

Design & Iteration. Design with purpose

Design is not an end in itself—it’s a tool to solve problems. I design with intention, based on validated insights, and I iterate when needed to bring out the best possible solution.

Great UX work never ends with the first draft—it evolves. My approach applies to websites, digital products, or even cities—anywhere people interact with systems.
